HIKING: Michigan Ditch

← WY PIONEER CANAL WOODS WY Triple Blaze →

Description

Michigan Ditch is a fairly flat loop trail that follows jeep roads and fire roads into the wilderness. As you hike along you'll get excellent views of the Never Summer Mountains in Rocky Mountain National Park, and the Nokhu Crags. <br />
There are some steep drop-offs right beside the trail and there are bears and mountain lions in this area, so be careful!

Directions

From Fort Collins Head North on 287 to HWY 14 (Teds Place) Go up HWY 14 for approximately 70 miles to the Cameron Pass Parking lot. Its right at the summit. On the right as you arrive from the east. Across the street you'll see a gate over a very well maintained road. This is the start of the trail.
